It is with great sadness that I inform the local Amateur community of the death of Ralph Adams, VE3GHZ.
Ralph was a longtime amateur radio operator, and all around giving person who actually administered the official exam for many amateurs in this area. He was also a veteran of WWII and a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 201 in Essex.
He leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Mabel, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our thoughts and prayers are with them on this sad day.
Ralph is resting at KENNEDY FUNERAL HOME LTD 519-776-7378, 128 Talbot St. North Essex on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brent Horner officiating. Interment Country Meadows Cemetery, Essex. Donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army-Essex. You may send your condolences online at www.kennedyfh.com

As most of you may know, Greg, VA3GDS, was in an serious accident over a year ago. He broke a lot of bones, and had to be hospitalized.
Here, we will keep you updated as to his status, and his whereabouts, as they switch him from room to room, attending to his care.
